El Archivo Liberado
My role: Exhibition graphics design
Team: Centro de Fotografía de Montevideo
When: 2022
Signage design for the exhibition “El archivo liberado” (“The Liberated Archive”), which was based on a selection of historical photographs of the city, belonging to the historical archive of the CdF, of the Municipality of Montevideo.
In collaboration with the CdF's curatorial, exhibition and communication teams, my participation consisted of the design of proposals for the signs, labels and other graphic pieces, aligned with the concept of “liberation” of the exhibition. The challenge was to create a design system that would respond to the different goals of each of the three exhibition halls, in a way that would be attractive to the public, and that would maintain the CdF’s communication tone.
